Our client was a shoe producer whose sales were going through the roof after they began to use e-commerce websites. But when the foot-fall in their stores intensified without increased sales at the tills, they approached XSIGHTS to measure behaviors of different customer segments.


XSIGHTS Research and Consultancy designed a research in order to determine shoe purchasing behaviors, preferred channels, impact of online channels, changes in shopping behavior as a result of online channels, awareness and perception of different shoe brands.

The results pointed out that brand awareness of our client increased by adding e-commerce websites and foot-fall in the stores increased because shoppers first went to stores to try the shoes before online purchasing. (A very familiar pattern of behaviour across many retail sectors).
