Perception of Ethics Among University Students

XSIGHTS has conducted a detailed quantitative survey about how university students in Turkey approach ethical issues on behalf of the Center for Ethical Values (EDMER). This survey was used to raise awareness about ethical values among university students and recruit Ethics Leaders on different campuses across Turkey.

Perception of Ethics Among Young Professionals

EDMER (Center for Ethical Values) commissioned this research to assess how young professionals working in several different sectors perceive ethics and how they would react to ethical dilemmas in the workplace. The research analyzed the difference in the perception of ethics across different sectors and offered suggestions on how to establish strong ethical cultures in organisational settings.

Assistance in Preparing Marketing Plans for Youth Communities

XSIGHTS was commissioned to support youth communities in drawing a marketing plan for advertising their local produce in five different villages in Turkey. With assistance from XSIGHTS, young members of these communities conducted focus group discussions and surveys among farmers, analyzed data, conducted a SWOT analysis and prepared a marketing plan for funding.

The Impact of COVID-19 on the Labor Force

This survey was conducted for ILO and aimed at assessing the impact of COVID-19 on the labor force for young people among host and refugee communities in Turkey. For the findings of this survey, please click this link.

Impact Assessment 2012-2015 for International Maritime Organisation (IMO)

XSIGHTS conducted a large evaluation across 90 countries of the Integrated Technical Cooperation Programme (ITCP) for IMO. The scope of the study included financial evaluation of Integrated Technical Capacity Programme (ITCP) activities and quantitative research that targeted beneficiaries, implementing partners, IMO internal staff and IMO consultants. Qualitative research was also carried out with key informants, including senior members of the governments, heads of committees and key council members. Perception of Executive Learning Survey

Sabancı University EDU is one of the world’s leading executive education institutions and is routinely ranked among the best 100 business schools by the Financial Times’ “Executive MBA Rankings”. XSIGHTS conducted a study of perceptions of Sabancı University EDU and a full assessment of its positioning in the global executive education market in Turkey. Through this survey, the XSIGHTS team gained deep insights into the latest trends in the education sector and Sabancı EDU was able to determine its expansion strategy for 2023.

Performance Evaluation of Education Programme

The NGO Concern Worldwide is committed to ending poverty by providing education access to the most vulnerable and least privileged groups. XSIGHTS has recently conducted an impact assessment of their education program that provides training to teachers and young entrepreneurs based on OEDC-DAC criteria, which are based on relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. Concern Worldwide was able to use the findings of this assessment to strengthen their education programming in a more integrated framework with government bodies.

Curriculum Test Among Young Girls and Their Fathers in Syria

XSIGHTS organized 12 focus group discussions in Syria with young girls and their fathers about the content of an educational programme. The focus group discussions were used to test whether or not the programme’s topics were acceptable in Syrian culture and if the topics met expectations for educational content targeted towards girls.

IELTS Experience among High School Students and Young Professionals

The British Council builds connections, understanding and trust between people in the UK and other countries through arts and culture, education and the English language. British Council is a proud co-owner of IELTS, the world’s most popular English language test. XSIGHTS conducted an in-depth survey into the customer journey and points of differentiations between the British Council and the IDP (the main competitor). Based on this research, the British Council was able to re-design test takers’ experience and thus increased its engagement with clients and institutions.
